Aron Feiles
Aron Feiles graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting in 2000. He later returned to SDSU and earned a Master of Science degree in Accountancy with an emphasis in taxation in 2009.
During his time as an undergraduate, Aron interned with several local accounting firms and was the full-charge bookkeeper for several businesses. Following graduation, he completed the year of auditing required to obtain his CPA license before pursuing his desired career in tax at a full-service accounting firm. His responsibilities there included the preparation of income, payroll, sales, and property tax returns, the preparation of financial statements, and the assistance and oversight of full-charge bookkeepers for various businesses and organizations. This experience provided him with invaluable insight into the inner workings of business and ultimately with the foundation for a career as a tax advisor at Lauer Georgatos Covel Devine & Feiles beginning in 2004. Aron became a shareholder of the firm in 2016.
Aron specializes in providing tax consulting, planning, and compliance services primarily to closely-held businesses, high net-worth individuals, and trusts and estates. He has extensive experience in S corporations, multi-state tax return preparation, estate return preparation, and administration of estate/trust assets following a death. Aron has also provided expert testimony in court.
Away from the office, Aron enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He loves to travel and is conversational in German, which he continues to build on through regular lessons and travel to Switzerland. He also enjoys sports and his favorite teams include the Padres, Aztecs, Broncos, and Wave FC.
